• Acetone nail polish remover

Step 2: File Down the Top Layer

Using a nail file, gently buff the top layer of the fake nails. This helps the acetone penetrate through the glue. Be careful not to file too much; you only want to remove the shiny topcoat.

Step 3: Soak in Acetone

Take your cotton balls or pads, soak them in acetone, and place them on top of each nail. Wrap each finger with aluminum foil to hold the cotton in place and create a warm environment that allows the acetone to work effectively. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the Nails

After 15-20 minutes, remove the foil wraps. You should notice that the fake nails have started to lift. Gently push the fake nails off using a wooden or metal cuticle stick. Step 5: Clean Up
