How to make press on nails with polygel

To make press on nails with polygel, you will need the following materials:

  1. Polygel nail kit, including polygel, nail forms, and brush
  2. A clear or natural colored gel base coat
  3. Acrylic paint or gel polish in your desired colors
  4. Gel top coat
  5. Cuticle pusher or orange stick
  6. Nail glue
  7. Scissors or nail clipper
  8. Nail file or buffer
Instructions:

  1. Begin by preparing your nails. Trim and shape them to your desired length and shape using scissors or a nail clipper. Then, file and buff the surface of your nails to create a smooth and even surface.
  2. Next, apply a clear or natural colored gel base coat to your nails and cure under a UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds. This will help the polygel adhere to your nails and create a stronger foundation.
  3. Take a small amount of polygel and roll it into a ball using your brush. Then, place the ball of polygel onto the nail form, using the brush to shape and mold it into the desired shape and length.
  4. Repeat this process for each nail, making sure to smooth out any bumps or imperfections as you go.
  5. Once you have applied polygel to all of your nails, cure them under a UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds.
  6. Next, apply your desired color using acrylic paint or gel polish. Make sure to cover the entire nail surface and cure under a UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds.
  7. Once your nails are fully cured and dry, apply a thin layer of gel top coat to each nail and cure under a UV or LED lamp for 60 seconds.
  8. Using a cuticle pusher or orange stick, gently push back your cuticles and clean up any excess gel or polish around the edges of your nails.
  9. Finally, apply a small amount of nail glue to the back of each press on nail and press them onto your natural nails. Hold them in place for a few seconds to allow the glue to dry and secure the press on nails in place.
  10. Once the glue is dry, you can file and shape the press on nails to your desired length and shape. And you're done! You now have press on nails made with polygel.
